Skin Cancer of the head, face and neck

Skin lesions are extremely common, especially as we get older and are exposed to sunlight.

Many skin lesions do not require medical attention, but when a new mole or mark appears on your skin, you may naturally wish to find out whether or not it might be dangerous.

It is our mission to offer you a safe and effective solution for all your skin concerns of the face, head and neck. Our team is proficient in diagnosing and treating a variety of skin conditions such as basal cell carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas, or melanoma.

Basal cell carcinomas and squamous cell carcinomas of the skin are the most common and second most common forms of skin cancer, respectively.

Basal cell carcinomas are mostly slow growing, highly curable, especially when caught early, and rarely spread beyond the skin. Squamous cell carcinomas of the skin are more serious, tend to grow quicker, but are still highly curable when timely diagnosed and treated.

Melanoma accounts for only about 1% of all skin cancers, but is the most serious form of skin cancer. However, early detection and management is key in avoiding advanced disease and disfigurement or spread to other organs.

We can offer a variety of treatments ranging from laser to surgical excision, depending on your situation. In case of larger skin lesions, our team is proficient in surgically excising, but also in reconstructing your skin, in order to provide you with the best cosmetic result.
